Overview
TidalMC came to us with a vision for a multi-mode network but no unified infrastructure. We architected and deployed the entire stack — from proxy layer and database cluster to individual game servers, custom plugins, and launch-ready spawn worlds.
Every node was tuned for its specific game mode, with shared services for ranks, cosmetics, and friend systems running through a central Redis-backed data layer.
Deliverables
- Velocity proxy with load balancing, anti-bot filtering, and DDoS mitigation setup
- Hub lobby with NPC quest givers, server selector GUI, and seasonal event areas
- SMP server with custom land claiming, player shops, and economy integration
- Skyblock instance with island upgrades, co-op invites, and leaderboard system
- Competitive PvP arena with ELO matchmaking, kit selection, and replay spectating
- Shared rank system, chat formatting, and cross-server party/friend sync
Results
The network launched with zero downtime during the cutover from the old single-server setup. TidalMC reached 1,500 concurrent players within the first month, with average server TPS holding above 19.5 across all nodes during peak hours.
